Janek Uin got his PhD in physics for research on electrical aerosol spectrometers and techniques for their calibration, including development of new methods for producing high quality calibration aerosols. In addition to laboratory research, he has managed setting up remote measurement stations and participated in field campaigns with the interest in studying atmospheric secondary new particle formation in the particle size range down to 1 nm.
