Jim Yeck is the Associate Laboratory Director and the Project Director for the Electron-Ion Collider. He has over 30 years of project director and project manager experience including serving as the Interim Project Director and Project Advisor for DOE and NSF projects, as well as the Director General of the European Spallation Source.  He has proven experience successfully leading projects in both federal and contractor roles such as the DOE Project Manager for RHIC and US Large Hadron Collider, IceCube Neutrino Detector Project Director, and NSLS-II Deputy Project Manager.  Jim is a chair and member of numerous advisory committees for DOE and NSF large projects and lead lecturer for the DOE Project Leadership since its inception in 2017.
