Mourad Idir

Mourad serves as the Program Manager for the Experimental Development (ED) program at the NSLS-II.  The ED program offers world-class capabilities for optical metrology, x-ray optics fabrication: thin film based like Multilayer Laue Lenses or Diffraction Limited x-ray mirrors. The program also provides opto-mechanical systems and related services to further the NSLSII mission of enabling cutting-edge scientific research, support the development of advanced analysis and simulation tools to enable quick feedback on optics fabrication and characterization, and support the NSLS-II Experimental Program beamlines and research laboratories for operations, maintenance, service, retrofits and construction.
