Michele Parisi manages Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Export Compliance Office. The Export Compliance Office (ECO) maintains U.S. export regulatory requirements, supports integration into BNL scientific research and operational activities, and serves as a point of contact for guidance, resources, education, and coordination of export compliance. Michele manages the ECO team of experienced export compliance professionals, who support BNL science and operational areas with export regulatory requirements and process improvements.
Expertise
Michele has extensive experience in export and import compliance program development, logistics management, contract development and team leadership. She has in-depth knowledge of EAR and ITAR regulations. Michele has built and led successful compliance programs in the Military Engines Business Unit and Office of General Counsel at Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon Technologies Corp (formerly UTC), and Canberra Industries. Additionally, Michele served as the Director of Customer Service for North America during her tenure at Canberra, developing contracts, service strategies and leading technical teams providing services to customers in the nuclear industry.
