Eileen Pinkston

At CSI, I originally worked with the Computational Data-Driven Discovery (C3d) Division from 2017 under Shantenu Jha through 2024.  I now work within the  Computing and Data Sciences Directorate as the Administrator for Meifeng Lin, Chair, Computational Science, and for the Applied Mathmatics Department, under Susan Minkoff. 

I have been associated with Brookhaven National Laboratory, working in various departments during my almost 40 years as a Laboratory employee, (Nuclear Energy, Purchasing, Light Source, Human Resources).  Earlier in my career, I worked for the Department of Transportation, with a Traffic/Accident Risk Assessment company.

I started worked at Pan American World Airlines in New York as a typist and then a Purchasing Expeditor.  I then transferred to Maryland and worked in Baltimore City reservations and then later at the airport.  The airport, at that time, was small (Friendship Intl - now BWI).  I worked in cargo, reservations, along with the boarding of passengers, and any other task necessary to facilitate the needs of our passengers in a small local airport.
