Dr. Joshi is a research associate in the cloud processes group at Brookhaven National Lab. He is a modeling team member of the Southwest Urban Corridor Integrated Field Laboratory (SW-IFL) and an urban boundary layer observationalist. He is also contributing to the development of the WRF model. He possesses a strong background in understanding the role of roughness surface heterogeneity on the atmospheric surface layer response and dispersion modeling in urban arrangements. Parag is working towards using the field observations of prognostic variables as feedback to improve the mesoscale model.
