I am Prabhakar Reddy, a Beamline Scientist at the Spectroscopy Soft and Tender Beamline at NSLS-II and National Institute of Standards and Technology in Upton, New York. My research focuses on understanding how catalyst structure and dynamics influence catalytic activity and reaction selectivity, with the goal of developing energy-efficient catalysts for sustainable fuel and chemical production.
I specialize in spectroscopy techniques, including XAS, RIXS, AP-XPS, and DRIFTS, to investigate catalysts under realistic operando and reaction conditions. I enjoy collaborating across disciplines to combine advanced characterization methods with catalyst design and reaction engineering.
