Racquel acheived a bachelor and master's degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a master's degree in Nuclear Engineering.
She started out applying her mechanical engineering education to product design development of wheel-end components for the medium-heavy duty trucking industry, from concept design to commercialization. After achieving her Nuclear Engineering master's degree, Racquel worked as an Associate Instrumentation Engineer for the International Atomic Energy Agency where she developed cherenkov radiation viewing instruments used in spent nuclear fuel verification activities.
