Scott Bronson is the manager of Government Relations and Strategic Engagement for Brookhaven National Laboratory's (BNL) Stakeholder Relations Office. He has a strong background in government and stakeholder relations, strategic partnerships, science and technology policy, DE&I, science communication, and STEM workforce development. He has successfully led strategic partnerships funded by the Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the New York State Foundation for Science, Technology, and Innovation (NYSTAR), Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), and the Long Island Community Foundation. He has a passion for exploring the broader impacts of scientific discovery, across all STEM disciplines. For his work in developing educational laboratory science kits, the Battelle Memorial Institute recognized Mr. Bronson as Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Inventor of the Year, 2006. Additionally, Mr. Bronson has taught molecular biology teacher workshops in Singapore for the Singapore Ministry of Education. He has appeared on PBS for Scientific Frontiers- The Gene Hunters and the award-winning documentary Race- The Power of an Illusion.
