Teresa Daniels

Teresa Daniels serves as the Deputy for Operations for the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II). She is responsible for the NSLS-II operational platform on which research is conducted. She leads teams for strategic and tactical planning, implementing planning objectives, managing resources effectively, and delivering operational excellence and compliance, and assessing performance of operational programs including Work Planning and Control, Conduct of Operations, Environmental, Security, Safety and Health, Quality, Facilities Operations, Emergency Planning and Response, Business Operations, Space Administration, and related programs and projects. She is responsible for the development of space, conventional facilities, and utilities to support the build-out of the remaining beamlines and upgrade to the accelerator. She is the  chair for the Light Source Safety and Operations Committee (LSSOC), the co-chair for the Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) Operations Council, and the co-chair for the BNL Research Security Working Group.
