Tom Mc Donald

Tom began his career at BNL in 1990 as part of the NSLS Power Supply group. In this position, he was responsible for fabricating, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing various power supplies and related subsystems. In 1999, he transitioned to the NSLS Control Room as an Operations Coordinator, where he oversaw all aspects of accelerator and beamline operations. By 2009, Tom had moved to the NSLS ESH staff, taking charge of the testing program for all Personnel Protection Systems (PPS). At NSLS-II, he continues to lead PPS testing and supports the NSLS-II Safety Officer in managing configuration control and operational oversight for the accelerators and beamlines.
