Expertise

Since the opening of the CFN in 2007, I have been overseeing the health and safety aspects of research activities.  My interests are in the areas of Nanomaterials Safety, Chemical Safety, Hazard  Identification and Control, Injury Investigation and Prevention.  I have experience with Experimental Safety Reviews,  Work Planning and Control, and DOE's Integrated Safety Management System.

Professional Appointments

2015 –present ES&H Manager, Energy Sciences/ Center for Functional Nanomaterials, Brookhaven National Laboratory

2019 –present ES&H Coordinator, Brookhaven National Laboratory.  The DOE Nanoscale Science Research Centers Recapitalization project will modernize the U.S. nanoscience infrastructure.
