Yoshiteru (Yoshi) Hidaka is an accelerator physicist in the Accelerator Division at NSLS-II. As part of the Accelerator Coordination Group, he plays a crucial role in maintaining the stable operation of the storage ring, ensuring the delivery of reliable X-ray photon beams to beamline users. His research focuses on the design and optimization of advanced ring lattices, as well as the development and implementation of innovative measurement techniques. He is also particularly interested in leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance accelerator performance and diagnostics.
