The Long Island Solar Farm

The Long Island Solar Farm located at Brookhaven National Lab is the largest photovoltaic array in the eastern U.S., and among the largest in the nation constructed on federal property. Generating a maximum of 32-megawatts, it can produce enough energy to power up to 4,500 Long Island homes without the use of fossil fuels. (Video courtesy of BP Solar.) More details
