On Nov. 30, 2012, BNL hosted the inaugural Young Research Symposium to spotlight the Lab’s youngest and brightest researchers. Shirley Johnson, who worked for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for 25 years, spoke of her experiences working at the IAEA and provided attendees with career-advancing advice.
