Instructions for Mentors

The fellowship program will provide the funds to bring the salary up to the stated level and also provide a modest amount of independent funds for material and supplies.

The Brookhaven National Laboratory mentor must submit a letter (no more than 2 pages) that is approved by the mentor's Department Chair/Division Head. This letter should state the candidate's qualifications and his/her match to Brookhaven Lab's S&T portfolio, and touch on possible career pathways for the candidate at the Lab. The application is complete when the mentor and the Department notify Dr. Kathi Barkigia that they would be pleased to host the candidate as a Goldhaber Fellow.
