Andrea Reed

Andrea serves as Chief of Staff for the Director’s Office at Brookhaven National Laboratory. In this role, she acts as the “right hand” to the Laboratory Director and a trusted advisor, supporting the execution of key strategies and institutional objectives. Andrea distills and organizes complex information, helps set priorities, and facilitates the effective flow of communication to and from the Director’s Office.

She collaborates closely with the Deputy Director for Science and Technology and with the Deputy Director for Operations to support a number of lab initiatives and projects. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the Director’s Office, Andrea ensures that key deliverables are tracked and completed efficiently.

Prior to joining Brookhaven, Andrea served as the business operations manager for the Office of the Director at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, where she oversaw the day-to-day operations.
