Tammy Stein

Tammy has over 27 years of laboratory experience. She has continued to work in increasing roles of responsibility, starting as a clerical worker in the Administrative Pool in 1992, to her current position as Administrative Specialist in the NSLS-II Director's Office. 

Tammy supervises 3 direct reports and oversees the NSLS-II administrative staff. She completed the Supervisory Development Program in 2018.  Tammy is currently responsible for supporting the NSLS-II Director, Deputy for Science, Deputy for Construction, and Deputy for Operations. Tammy maintains the Department Org Chart. Tammy is also responsible for the logistics of several meetings and reviews, creating, posting and publishing several websites, and various other administrative tasks for the NSLS-II department. Tammy is available to assist any staff member in need of administrative support or direction.
