Share the Memories: NSLS and NSLS-II Summer Sunday 2014

The Photon Sciences Directorate does it every year, but Summer Sunday on July 13 was the most ambitious open house to date, thanks to the efforts of staff and their family members and friends. Close to 100 volunteers offered tours of the National Synchrotron Light Source (NSLS) and NSLS-II, entertained — and educated — visitors at hands-on displays, and described research at NSLS and the science to come at NSLS-II. Special activities for the day were focussed on crystallography, to mark 2014 as the International Year of Crystallography.
