Mission: Conduct impactful research in AI theory and security through effective collaborations while working on highly visible use cases.

We focus on mathematical foundations, robustness, and security to thoughtfully design new analysis and optimization methods, study the safety of AI systems, and assess security risks in deployed models.

Our work supports DOE’s Office of Science, NNSA, and collaborations with academia, national labs, and other FFRDCs.​
