Quantum Information Science & Technology Summit

Quantum Information Science and Technology (QIST) is rapidly evolving and is already demonstrating the potential to transform computing and communications. To ensure U.S. leadership in the new quantum economy, the Department of Energy (DOE), along with several other federal agencies, has made significant investments in QIST research.

These efforts are augmenting those within the private sector, where multinational corporations and numerous startups are driving innovation in a sector projected to achieve revenue near $13 billion by 2023.

The QIST Summit, organized by Brookhaven National Laboratory, is the sixth in DOE’s InnovationXLab series: a showcase of the remarkable assets and capabilities of the Department’s National Laboratories. These summits facilitate a two-way exchange of information and ideas between industry, universities, investors, and end-use customers with Lab innovators and experts.

The InnovationXLab QIST Summit will connect leaders in the finance and banking, technology, communications, energy, transportation, life sciences, and materials sciences sectors to discuss how to accelerate QIST advancements that impact the nation and world.
