Alexei Fedotov is a Distinguished Scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He is currently Beam Cooling Group Leader at Collider-Accelerator Department.
Alexei received his Ph.D. in Accelerator Physics from University of Maryland, College Park. He joined Brookhaven National Laboratory in 1999 where he worked on various accelerator projects.
Awards & Recognition
Alexei Fedotov received Brookhaven Lab’s Science and Technology Award in 2019. In 2021, he was awarded Dieter Möhl Medal, a worldwide recognition for outstanding contributions to the development and application of particle beam cooling. In 2022, he was elected Fellow of the American Physical Society.
