NOTE: the Laboratory's pool is for the use of Brookhaven Lab employees, guests, retirees, and family members only. It is not open to the general public.
Pool Operating Hours
Employees
*Mon — Fri, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m.Saturday 11 a.m.—2 p.m.
Retirees
*Mon — Fri, 10:30 a.m. to noon and 4 to 8 p.m.Saturday 11 a.m.—2 p.m.
Family Swim
Friday, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Starting June 3 through August 22 the pool will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be no Saturday hours Memorial day to Labor Day.
Usage fees
Fees are paid by cash or personal check at the pool desk upon entry to the building.

Join our expert instructors to reach your swimming goals, with flexible scheduling and personalized lessons in a supportive environment. Classes are open to all badged lab employees and family members ages 3 and up. Select credits and packages in the link below to select your personalized package.

Pool Use Policies
Children
A parent must accompany children at all times. If your child is less than 42-inches tall, the parent must be in the water with the child, no exceptions. A painted line on the wall will confirm height.
Guest Policy
No more than two guests (adult or child) per family at the swimming pool, please. Advance Laboratory Main Gate notice and ID are required for adults over 16.
