Visit Justification: | Attend 2025 Bridge Building Competition – The purpose of this contest is for students to construction and test model bridges in which to promote the study and application of the principles of physics and engineering. students will get a flavor of what it is to be an engineer, designing structures to a set of specs and then seeing them perform their function. |

Important Notice: All guests must complete an additional Brookhaven Lab Guest Form by February 14, 2025 and be approved in the Brookhaven Lab Guest Information System (GIS) before they can use Brookhaven Lab's onsite accommodations. Registrations received after the deadline may not receive approval in time to stay onsite. Completing the Brookhaven Lab Guest Form does not automatically register you for this event.
If you have a current Brookhaven Lab guest appointment and a valid Brookhaven National Lab (BNL) Guest Number or BNL Employee Life Number or you have a pending BNL Guest Registration (GR) Number, it is not necessary to complete the additional BNL Guest Form again.
Notice for Non-U.S. Citizens
Attendees will not be allowed onsite if their Brookhaven Lab appointment is expired!
Non-U.S. citizens who have an active and up to date Brookhaven Lab appointment, but whose Passport, Visa, or U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) documentation have expired must bring their updated paperwork with them and check-in at the Guest, User, Visitor (GUV) Center between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to update their USCIS documentation.
Upon arrival at BNL, please go to the GUV Center located in the Research Support Building (Bldg. 400) to check-in. Please make sure to bring proper identification.
