'Get Connected' by Galaxy Digital

Get Connected by Galaxy Digital is the platform selected by Brookhaven National Laboratory that allows you to volunteer for or discover scheduled events hosted by Laboratory groups ranging from Employee Resource Groups to support organizations like the Community Engagement Office.

To navigate the Get Connected platform, you should be familiar with the language that it uses:

• An “Agency” is a Brookhaven Lab group, department, or organization.
• A “Need” is a volunteer opportunity.
• Once you register for a Get Connected account, you can follow a Lab organization’s postings for events and volunteer opportunities by becoming what the platform calls a “Fan”. When you become a Fan of an organization, you will be notified when that group posts a new volunteer opportunity or event.
