Laboratory, and the community to address issues that may affect community members' quality of life. We strive
to provide opportunities for Lab employees to make a positive impact by volunteering their time and talent.

'Get Connected' by Galaxy Digital
Get Connected by Galaxy Digital is the platform selected by Brookhaven National Laboratory that allows you to volunteer for, or discover, scheduled events hosted by support organizations like the Community Engagement or Workforce Development and Science Education Offices.
To navigate the Get Connected platform, you should be familiar with the language that it uses:
- An “Agency” is a Brookhaven Lab group, department, or organization.
- A “Need” is a volunteer opportunity.
- Once you register for a Get Connected account, you can follow a Lab organization’s postings for events and volunteer opportunities by becoming what the platform calls a “Fan”. When you become a Fan of an organization, you will be notified when that group posts a new volunteer opportunity or event.
Note: If you interact with the Get Connected platform, any resulting emails will come from no-reply@galaxydigital.com.
