ELI Beamlines' Tour

Participants will tour theExtreme Light Infrastructure (ELI), a European research infrastructure which houses the world's most powerful collection of high-powered lasers on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Transportation will be organized from Vila Lanna to ELI and back. Time to be announced. More...

Transportation Information

  • From Václav Havel Airport Prague there is a Trolleybus #59 to subway station, Nadrazi Veleslavin.
  • When using city transport the ticket must be stamped (the machine is at the platform or in the bus) before first ride, but only once (some tourists stamped it each time, but it invalidates the ticket). The ticket is valid for any transport in the city (bus, trolleybus, tram, metro, and even some ferries).
  • You can buy a 24h ticket for 120 CZK and then you do not need to worry about single tickets.
  • It is very likely that people will need a ticket to get to Vila Lanna from Hotel. It is 5-10 minute walk from the subway station Hradcanska.
  • People in age 60-65 can use city transport in Prague (including trolleybus from/to airport) at half price and above 65 years for free. You will need to prove your age (e.g. passport).
