Secretary Chu to Make Major Funding Announcement During Visit to Brookhaven National Laboratory

Washington, DC - US Energy Secretary Steven Chu will make a major funding announcement on Monday, March 23, while touring Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) on Long Island, New York. Secretary Chu will also be joined by Congressman Tim Bishop and other elected officials.
The Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory is one of DOE's seventeen national laboratories. BNL's primary mission is to deliver science-based solutions to the nation's energy, environmental and security needs.
