Meeting Hotel Information

All hotels are extending special rates to meeting participants. When booking a room, you must guarantee your room with a credit card. Any cancellations need to be made at least 48 hours in advance of scheduled arrival.

Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) does not provide shuttle service to and from area hotels. Since there is no public transportation to BNL, attendees are strongly advised to make car rental arrangements prior to arrival. However, area hotels may provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the LIRR (only selected branches), Long Island Islip MacArthur Airport, BNL and area restaurants. Please check with the hotel and, if necessary, set up your shuttle requirements at check-in.

Cancellation Policy - Guests will have up until 48-hours prior to arrival to cancel their room without a penalty. If canceled after 48-hours, the credit card holding the reservation will be charged the first night room rate and tax.

A block of rooms (suite style) at Tubman Hall (Stony Brook University Conference Housing) have been reserved at a preferred rate of $84.00 US/night for a single room (plus applicable taxes) and are on a first come first served basis. This housing facility is fully furnished, offers wireless and wired Ethernet access, iptv connections (televisions not provided) and individual climate controlled units in each room. Interested participants are encouraged to make their reservations early.

The SBU Conference Housing is located in Tubman Hall (quadrant D3) which, is within walking distance (pdf) to the Wang Center.

Parking is limited to the residential lots adjacent to the assigned Conference Housing residence hall. Parking in any other lot/facility on campus requires a campus permit or payment of fees on an hourly/daily basis.

How to Register

• click on NEXO2019 and click create booking
• Complete form and click next
• You can indicate on the roommate preference page if you have a preferred suitemate, then click next.
• When you reach the payment summary page there will be an auto generated username and pin at the top of the page.
   
  Please write down and save this log in information (it will also be emailed to the email address used in your registration), especially if you are planning to pay at a later date. However,  we recommend making the registration and payment all in one sitting. You will receive a confirmation email after your payment has been processed.
