General Lab Information

Brookhaven National Lab (BNL) does not provide shuttle service to and from area hotels. Since there is no public transportation to BNL, attendees are strongly advised to make car rental arrangements prior to arrival. However, area hotels may provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the LIRR (only selected branches), Long Island Islip MacArthur Airport, BNL and area restaurants. Please check with the hotel and if necessary set up your shuttle requirements at check-in.

All Science and Engineering Development Program (SEDP) participants attending the Summit will have complimentary accommodations at Holiday Inn Express. Rooms have been reserved and there is no cost to you. We highly encourage participants to take advantage of this opportunity.

Participants should not contact the hotel directly to reserve a room.

The Summit coordinator will prepare and send a list to the hotel for those who have requested accommodations in their registration. Please ensure you have confirmed in your Summit registration that you will be requesting a room. You will receive confirmation via email of your hotel registration.
