Alexander is a Mechanical / Project Engineer on the NEXT-III beamline HRD (High Resolution powder Diffraction) located at 6-ID. Prior to his tenure at NSLS-II Alexander worked for KLD Labs as an engineer managing the design and implementation of wayside railroad inspection systems. Additionally, he maintained the company's CAD infrastructure. Alexander obtained his Professional Engineering license in NYS while working at Mason Industries, a seismic restraint and vibration isolation company. Here Alexander provided engineering services to protect people and critical building infrastructure during a seismic or hurricane activity.
Education
Alexander earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Union College in 2017.
Certifications
Alexander is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York.
