Chris Zegel is a Technical Writer/Document Coordinator and member of the NSLS-II Document and Records Center. He is responsible for the creation and maintenance of facility-related documentation (i.e., Procedures, Work Instructions, Policies, etc.), management of the Document and Records Center, training of all new NSLS-II Authors/Document Owners, and available for general sharepoint and document center assistance.
Prior to joining BNL in 2022, he led the Regulatory Affairs team for a large Sports & Active Nutrition company for 7 years. In this role, he was responsible for ensuring all aspects of products were compliant with FDA/EPA/USDA regulations in addition to State based regulations for each region, primarily involving heavy metals/contaminants and recycling methods.
He is also currently an active member of the NSLS-II Staff Council since 2022.
