Expertise

35 years of particle accelerator experience at the Collider-Accelerator Department and Electron Ion Collider at BNL. Started working in operations, then moved into the Accelerator Instrumentation & Beam Components Group, then led that group for 10 years. Experience includes the design, development, and installation of beam instrumentation systems for all of the accelerators in the RHIC complex.

David also contributed to the instrumentation systems at the Spallation Neutron Source project, Coherent electron Cooling proof of principle project, the Low Energy RHIC electron Cooling project.  He is presently the EIC Instrumentation Systems Group Leader.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University SUNY.
