Dr. Juhong Ahn is a postdoctoral research associate in the Imaging and Microscopy Team at the National Synchrotron Light Source II. His work focuses on critical dimension small-angle X-ray scattering (CD-SAXS) for the characterization of periodic nanostructures, and involves developing physics-based modeling and inverse reconstruction methods to extract structural features from scattering data.
His doctoral research investigated the self-assembly and phase behavior of block copolymer micellar crystals, utilizing X-ray scattering to probe its thermodynamic origins.
