Jin is an experimental nuclear physicist and nuclear data evaluator at National Nuclear Data Center (NNDC), Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). He received a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Physics from Lanzhou University and his doctorate in Particle and Nuclear Physics from Peking University. Before joining BNL, he was a Research Associate at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB), Michigan State University (MSU), and a Postdoctoral Appointee at Argonne National Laboratory to study the shape evolution and coexistence of unstable nuclei via Decay and Gamma Spectroscopies. He is currently working on evaluating and compiling the ENSDF and XUNDL Database at NNDC.
