Electrocatalysis, nanostructure and functional material synthesis, organometallics, electrochemical oxidation, and reduction reactions, direct energy conversion, surface modifications by electrochemical methods, fuel cell development, characterization techniques including diffraction, microscopy, spectroscopic, and synchrotron-based techniques.
