Ronald Prwivo

Ron joined Brookhaven Lab in 1996 as a technician working on electrical and mechanical systems at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. In 1999, he moved over to Waste Management, where he steadily progressed, eventually taking on responsibility for all waste operations, packaging and transportation of radioactive material shipments, and the Chemical Management Program. Since 2024, he has led institutional work planning and control and conduct of operations for the entire Laboratory. Ron has distinguished himself in every role he's held, focusing on projects and programs that require rigorous adherence to standards and help the Lab achieve its mission.  He was recognized in 2019 with a Brookhaven Award for outstanding contributions to the Laboratory.
