Seungjun Lee earned his Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering from Seoul National University in South Korea. His research focuses on uncovering the connections between scientific problems and machine learning tasks, and on adapting advanced algorithms to tackle various scientific challenges. He has expertise in physics-informed neural networks, neural operators, meta-learning, and generative models. Currently, he is developing foundation models for gamma spectra, forecasting ocean circulation, and solving X-ray inverse problems.
