I am Taravia Harris (aka Ray). I joined BNL as a member of the PPM Compliance team in March of 2022. In my role as a Compliance Specialist, my responsibilities include Interpreting DEAR/FAR, Performing folder reviews, Maintaining terms and conditions, providing training, and maintaining the training dashboad/matrix, all with the goal of providing guidance, recommendations and excellent customer service to all procurement professionals.
Expertise
Experienced Compliance Analyst providing guidance to Subcontract Administrators and Procuremnt personnel. Subject matter expert (SME) with performing review of procurement packages ensuring accuracy and consistency with company policies and procedures. Diverse professional background in business development, project managment, marketing, communications and process improvment.
Before joining BNL, I was employed with Vertex Aerospace (a contractor for the Department of Defense) for 4 years as a compliance analyst, nearly 8 years as a Senior Account Executive/Project Manager for Maris, West & Baker Marketing/Advertising Agency and 4 years in Economic Development for the Madson County Economic Development Authority.
Education
I have a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration (BHA) and a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership (MSL) as well an Associates degree in Marketing Managment.
