Talk: Remembering Camp Upton
Before Nobel Prize-winning discoveries and countless scientific breakthroughs, the Brookhaven Lab site was home to a U.S. Army camp, where soldiers prepared for World Wars I and II. See photos of Camp Upton and learn about the lives of the soldiers who passed through. This talk is recommended for those age 8 and older.

Enjoy hands-on family fun at the Science Learning Center. Explore interactive exhibits on many different areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
This tour starts from Berkner Hall Room B. Bus transportation is provided to the Science Learning Center. Arrive by 2:30 p.m. for the last bus to the facility.

Meet Spot, the Robot Dog
Spot can walk, climb, and jump. Meet this agile, mobile robot and learn how researchers in Brookhaven's Nonproliferation and National Security Department are using it to develop radiation detection tests.
