Summary

The crux of the invention is confirmed as a coplanar waveguide resonator (CWR) made using boron doped diamond that allows coupling between qubits. Boron doped diamond allows for coupling due to its intrinsic superconducting property. The goal is to use the CWR made with superconducting diamond (boron doped diamond) with defect centers in diamond/diamond qubits to prevent surface related transmission distortions. In addition, it can be envisioned that the design of the CWR can be used to couple qubits made of other materials. Further it is envisioned that an integrated system can have numerous qubits integrated with the CWR.
