Events
The AI/ML Working Group currently organizes two different series of events. AIMS Seminars, which started in 2021, focus on highlighting cutting edge research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and are generally intended for a technical, scientific audience. AIMS Tutorials are a new addition, starting in 2023, and in contrast to seminars are targeted towards a much more general, non-technical audience. These tutorials aim to build up a simpler concept from scratch, highlighting the uses, strengths and weakness of various models in the machine learning community, as well as how they can be deployed to great effect in scientific research.
