Energy & Utilities Division

Operates and maintains the Lab's electric distribution system, central steam facility, chilled water facility, potable water treatment facility, and the waste treatment facility.

Guest Services Division

Responsible for the Lab's food, housing, mail, and transportation services; conference and custodial support; and the Brookhaven Employee Recreation Association (BERA).

Integrated Facility Management (IFM)

Responsible to proactively and efficiently manage, maintain, and prepare the Laboratory’s infrastructure for cutting-edge science under a system of facility project managers who ensure that all their assigned facilities are mission ready.

Laboratory Protection Division

Protects Laboratory personnel, infrastructure and the environment taking an all hazards approach with the goal of preventing, mitigating, responding and recovering from emergency events affecting the Laboratory. Consists of the Emergency Management, Fire Protection Engineering, and Fire Rescue groups.

Modernization Project Office

Responsible for the engineering, design, cost estimating, scheduling, and project controls on conventional construction projects, including the selection of architectural/engineering firms, contractors and others engaged for these projects.

Operational Support & Planning Division

Responsible for work planning, scheduling and material purchases for F&O maintenance actives, as well as shipping, receiving, inventory control, and small equipment/office moves. Provide guidance, support and assurance for ESH, quality, and training to achieve safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Production Division

Provides mechanical, architectural, and civil services to build, support and maintain the Lab's infrastructure.

Safeguards & Security Division

Protects Lab staff, guests, and interests from the undesirable consequences of unwanted events by providing preparedness, assessment, engineering, and immediate response services for all types of security and non-security related emergencies.

Site Planning & Infrastructure Management Division

Ensures that the Lab's real property assets are planned for, managed, tracked, and upgraded as required in order to meet current and future programmatic needs.
