Search Committee
The search committee is charged with identifying a compelling set of candidates who are scientific and strategic leaders with inclusive leadership skills; the capability to facilitate impactful scientific outcomes and deliver large projects like the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC); a commitment to bringing along the whole Laboratory with that vision; and other qualities that will be firmed up through staff listening sessions and detailed in the job posting. The committee will provide a short list of finalists to the BSA Board, which will conduct interviews, consult with DOE, and then make a final decision. The BSA board expects to announce its decision by mid-2026.
