Conductors & Insulators

Students are introduced to the terms “open circuit” and “closed circuit”.Students will observe the steps required to create a simple circuit and confirm their prediction on the conductivity of various materials.

Vocabulary: circuit, closed circuit, conductor, electricity, insulator, open circuit

Session Information: This activity is available only in-person. It cannot be booked as a virtual program.

In-Person Session Information
  • Session times are Tuesday - Friday, 10 - 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 - 2 p.m.
  • Activities are pre-selected based on grade level
  • Up to two classes per session, maximum 30 students/class

All in-person activities are interactive, hands-on student experiences guided by our instructors.
