BSA Statement on Laboratory Director's Announcement

The following statement has been issued by Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) Board Chair Shirley Kenny and Vice-Chair Carl Kohrt.

We want to thank Praveen for his great dedication and creativity as Laboratory Director and wish him the best in his future work as a scientist at the Laboratory. His scientific expertise will continue to be of great benefit to BNL.

We will immediately begin a search for Praveen's successor. Praveen will move to his new role on May 1 and, if we do not have a successor named as we approach the April 30 time-frame, we will appoint an Interim Laboratory Director. Of course we welcome your views on the appointment of the next Director or Interim Director.

Again, deepest thanks to Praveen for his distinguished service to the Laboratory. And thank you in advance for your help and cooperation during this transition period.
