Benefit Performance Features Acoustic Guitar Music & Comedy at Brookhaven Lab, Dec. 1

UPTON, NY - The BNL Music Club will present a performance to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on Friday, December 1, at 6:30 p.m. in Berkner Hall at the U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory. The evening of acoustic guitar music and comedy given by local performers is open to the public. Visitors to the Laboratory age 16 and older must bring a photo ID.
The featured performer will be Long Island singer-songwriter Bill Meehan, who is sure to delight audiences with his lyric imagery, soaring voice and guitar prowess. In addition, Cary Guerriero will play acoustic blues guitar. Off-Broadway performer Ann Marie Dowling will perform her unique brand of comedy, and the evening's master of ceremonies, Brookhaven Lab employee Joe De Voe, will add his own humorous touch to the program.
