Concert Featuring Synergy Quintet at Brookhaven Lab, January 9

UPTON, NY - On Wednesday, January 9, at 12 noon in Berkner Hall, the Synergy Quintet will present a collection of Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces that characterize the flexibility of a modern brass quintet. The ensemble plays a wide variety of music, including works from Tallis, Bach, Victoria, and Susato, as well as their own renditions of modern ballads and show tunes. The group has toured the United States and performed at major music festivals including Tanglewood. Sponsored by Brookhaven Science Associates, the company that manages Brookhaven Lab, the concert is free and open to the public. All visitors to the Laboratory age 16 and over must bring a photo ID.
