I am a research associate in the Nuclear and Particle Physics Software (NPPS) group. I work primarily in the projects related to Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) and Electron Ion Collider (EIC). My focus is on the development of softwares and applications for these experiments from reconstruction to detector design and optimization. I am also interested in the neutrino physics because of my training in this field and just for the sake of knowledge.
I am also involved in the High Energy Physics - Center for Computational Excellence (HEP-CCE). I work as a Level 3 manager for the Accelerator Integration Efforts for the DUNE core software framework. I have previously worked in Argonne National Laboratory and Fermi National Laboratory as a postdoctoral research associate and graduate student. When I am not working, I like to hike, read books, do photography. Recently, I am finding it interesting to explore all the new tools, LM and other applications that have flooded the market with the advent of NLM.
Expertise
Experimental Particle Physics, Simulation, I/O, Persistence, Compression, Data analysis, statistics
Recently I am involved in projects that leverage ML/AI for (physics) signal processing and solving optimization problem
