Derong Xu joined Brookhaven National Laboratory as an assistant physicist in EIC directory on 2021. He earned his Ph.D in nuclear technology and application from University of Science and Technology of China at 2016. From 2019, he has been working on beam-beam simulations for EIC at Michigan State University as a postdoc.He focuses his research on beam dynamics, beam-beam interaction, and lattice design.
