The ESOL Program Coordinator, Theodore Sampieri, has been a New York State Certified Public School Teacher for over two decades, teaching in school districts both on Long Island, New York City, the United States Department of Defense, and Brookhaven National Laboratory since 2013.

Expertise

Theodore has taught English as a Second Language (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) in Adult Education programs on Long Island for numerous years.

In addition to teaching, he was also a certified BEST PLUS administrator for the New York State Education Department. Furthermore, he has also taught United States History & Government, A.P. World History, A.P. European History, Criminal Justice, Introduction to Law, and Social Studies related courses.

Theodore holds both a B.A. and a M.A. degree and brings to Brookhaven National Laboratory not only his enthusiasm and passion for teaching, but his diverse background and experience. He has been assisting and working with multicultural students and their families from around the world for over twenty years.
